This event can offer encouragement and practical advice to navigate the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. It gives insight into what to expect and strength to go on.

Healing Hearts Memorial Tree Dedication

Grief support group members will place ornaments on a special Christmas tree remembering children they have lost.

Each child’s name will be read aloud as the ornaments are placed on the tree.

The public is welcome to attend. Individuals may simply watch, or they may bring their own special ornaments to remember a child they have lost. The group will provide a free ornament to anyone who wants one.

Elderly, homebound, and disabled individuals may get home delivery by contacting First Call for Help of Ellis County at (785) 623-2800.

Volunteers are needed. Volunteers may sign up by calling First Call for Help at the above phone number.

Every household in attendance who wants one will receive a free sack of groceries.

This is to help support Kelly Hansen as she serves on the mission field in South Africa.
